Season of the Glorious Birth of Our Lord
1. The Consecration and Renewal of the Church is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow. If November 1 falls on any day other than a Monday or Tuesday, this Service is used for two weeks.
2. The Announcement to Zechariah is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow.
3. The Announcement to Mary is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow.
4. The Visitation of the Virgin to Elizabeth is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow.
5. The Birth of John the Baptist is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow.
6. The Revelation to Joseph is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow.
7. The Genealogy of Jesus is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow.
8. The Glorious Birth of Our Lord is celebrated on December 25 and the weekdays that follow until the Sunday of the Finding of the Lord in the Temple.
9. If there is one Sunday between the Glorious Birth of Our Lord and the Epiphany, the Finding of the Lord in the Temple is celebrated. If there are two Sundays between these feasts, the Glorious Birth of Our Lord is celebrated on the first Sunday and the Finding of the Lord in the Temple on the second Sunday.
10. The Finding of the Lord in the Temple is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow until the Feast of the Epiphany.
11. The Circumcision of the Lord Jesus, New Year’s Day, is celebrated only on January 1.
Season of the Glorious Epiphany
12. The Glorious Epiphany of the Lord is celebrated on the feast day and all the Sundays during the Season of Epiphany until the Commemoration of the Priests. Weekdays A or Weekdays B are celebrated during the Season of Epiphany until the Commemoration of the Priests.
13. The Presentation of Christ in the Temple is celebrated only on February 2.
Three Weeks of Commemorations
14. The Commemoration of the Priests is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow.
15. The Commemoration of the Righteous and the Just is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow.
16. The Commemoration of the Faithful Departed is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow.
Season of Great Lent
17. The Service for each Sunday of Great Lent is celebrated only on that Sunday.
18. The First Weekday Cycle of Lent is celebrated on the weekdays during the first three weeks of this Season.
19. The Second Weekday Cycle of Lent (The Weeks of Miracles) is celebrated during the fourth and fifth weeks of this Season.
20. The Third Weekday Cycle of Lent (Hosanna Week) is celebrated on Monday – Thursday following the Sixth Sunday of this Season.
21. On the Friday of The Temptation of Jesus in the Wilderness (The Fortieth Day of Lent) the Service for the First Weekday Cycle of Lent is celebrated.
22. Lazarus Saturday is celebrated only on this day.
23. Hosanna Sunday is celebrated only on this day.
Passion Week
24. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of Passion Week are celebrated only on these days.
25. Thursday of the Mysteries is celebrated only on this day.
Season of the Glorious Resurrection
26. Sunday of the Glorious Resurrection is celebrated on the Sundays during the Season of Resurrection except for New Sunday and the Sunday after Ascension Thursday.
27. The appropriate Service for Monday – Saturday of the Season of Resurrection is celebrated thoughout this Season, except for Ascension Thursday.
28. New Sunday, the Second Sunday of the Season of Resurrection, is celebrated only on this Sunday.
29. The Ascension of Our Lord is celebrated on Thursday, the fortieth day after the glorious Resurrection, and on the following Sunday.
Season of Glorious Pentecost
30. Pentecost Sunday is celebrated on the Sunday and the weekdays that follow.
31. The Most Holy Trinity, the Sunday after Pentecost, is celebrated only on this Sunday.
32. During the Season of Pentecost, the Services for Sunday – Saturday, taken either from Week A or Week B, are celebrated until the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
The Services of Week A are commemorations as follows:
(1) Sunday, for the Resurrection of the Lord.
(2) Monday, for the Angels and their feasts.
(3) Tuesday, for the Righteous and the Just, and the Confessors, and their feasts.
(4) Wednesday, for the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, and her feasts except for the Announcement to Mary, the Visitation of the Virgin to Elizabeth, and the Feast of the Assumption.
(5) Thursday, for the Twelve Apostles, and their feasts.
(6) Friday, for the Martyrs, and their feasts.
(7) Saturday, for the Faithful Departed and for weekly, monthly, forty-day, and yearly memorials, except for the Sunday of the Faithful Departed.
Feasts during the Season of Glorious Pentecost
33. The Feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul is celebrated only on this feast day.
34. The Feast of the Twelve Apostles is celebrated only on June 30.
35. The Feast of the Transfiguration is celebrated on August 6 and the following Sunday.
36. The Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin is celebrated on August 15 and on the weekdays that follow.
The Season of the Glorious Cross
37. The Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is celebrated on September 14 and all the Sundays during this Season.
38. The appropriate Service for Monday – Saturday of the Season of the Glorious Cross is celebrated throughout this Season.
Feasts of the Maronite Saints
39. The Feast of Saint Maron is celebrated only on February 9.
40. The Feast of Saint John Maron, Patriarch of Antioch, is celebrated only on March 2.
41. The Feast of the Three Hundred and Fifty Martyrs, Disciples of Saint Maron, is celebrated only on July 31.
42. The Feast of the Massabki Martyrs, Francis, Abdul-mooti, and Raphael is celebrated only on July 10.
43. The Feast of Saint Sharbel is celebrated only on 23 July.
44. The Feast of Saint Rafka is celebrated only on March 23.
45. The Feast of Saint Nemtallah El-Hardini is celebrated only on
December 14.
